We have been operating our Isle of Wight holiday cottages since 2004, having fallen in love with 2 The Granary in Brighstone as soon as we saw it. We decided to run the cottage as a holiday let so other people could share our little jewel in its beautiful location. This was followed by a second property in 2008 (Brookside Cottage in Shorwell – now sold) and we even got married on the Island. We are proud of our Isle of Wight holiday cottage and love the fact that many of our guests return year after year.
West Wight Cottages
Since moving to the Isle of Wight in 2017 we took our business a step further and operated a holiday letting agency (West Wight Cottages) doing the marketing and bookings for other Isle of Wight holiday home owners. However the time has now come for us to wind down our holiday letting business and devote more time to the cause closest to our hearts – environmental sustainability. Teresa is heavily involved in monitoring the local wildlife on the Island, especially birds, and Steve has developed several Solar applications which he shares online.
We continue to operate our own Isle of Wight holiday cottage, 2 The Granary, in 2024 and beyond. Our regular guests are already booking their 2025 holidays so we encourage any new visitors to book early to get the dates of your choice! Our website has been updated to reflect these changes.
Isle of Wight holiday cottage services
We continue to provide a call-out and maintenance service to our previous holiday cottage owners.
