We appreciate you choosing 2 The Granary for your 2024 holiday and the trust you place in West Wight Cottages. We can’t wait to welcome you to our wonderful Island! We are contactable via phone and email to help you plan your holiday and arrange your ferries (discounted fares available – book early for busy holidays times).
We ask that you pay by direct bank transfer if you book via our West Wight Cottages website. We require a 25% deposit to secure your Isle of Wight holiday cottage. See here for Terms and Conditions 2024.
If you want to pay by credit card then you can book via our online partners Visit Isle of Wight, Red Funnel Holidays, cottages.com, Vrbo and TripAdvisor – prices may vary or include booking fees. Please check their Terms & Conditions first.
We will send you a welcome pack ahead of your arrival which includes directions, key access and all the information you should need about your Isle of Wight holiday cottage. Holiday guests staying with us in 2024 can benefit from free delivery and 15% discount on products from Grace’s Bakery – a discount code will be provided after booking.
We have an Electric Vehicle charging point (ECVP) – please ask in advance if you want to use this (chargeable).
Isle of Wight holiday cottage discounted ferry deals
We recommend you book your ferry tickets early if travelling on Fridays and for summer as sailings will be at capacity at these periods.
We offer discounted rates with:
Lymington to Yarmouth (vehicle & foot passengers) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (vehicle & foot passengers – look out for the newer environmentally ferry Victoria of Wight), Portsmouth to Ryde (foot passengers only). This includes priority boarding (at extra cost, limited allocation available so book early). We will provide a link for you to book these ferries yourself.
Southampton to East Cowes (vehicles only). Ask if you would like priority boarding or to be upgraded to the Signature Lounge (at extra cost, limited allocation so book early). Anyone travelling off-season benefits from our joint special offer of £399 for 4 nights, including ferry travel – see Offers.
Isle of Wight holiday cottage welcome
We continue to work hard to ensure our Isle of Wight holiday cottage is “COVID-19” secure and have taken extra steps as recommended by The Professional Association of Self-Caterers (we are a member). In advance of your arrival we will have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the cottage.
We are here if you have any problems or need help during your stay. We live on the Island so do not hesitate to contact ourselves or our housekeepers – contact details in your welcome pack.
You’re welcome to arrange a supermarket delivery. We have Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons on the Island – all can deliver to our cottage. Do ask if you need to know the address ahead of us sending you welcome information. Please arrange for the delivery to arrive after you have checked in.
We have a Tesco in Freshwater so handy to pop in if you arrive via Yarmouth. If you arrive via East Cowes then you will find a Waitrose close to the ferry port. Otherwise you have a choice of M&S, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Lidl in Newport, Aldi between Newport and Cowes and a Tesco superstore near Ryde.
We recommend our local Brighstone Village Shop which has an excellent selection of local produce along with a range of convenience products. The shop also hosts a Post Office.
We can also recommend the farm shops in Freshwater (Fanny’s Farm Shop), Hale Common, Arreton (Harvey Browns), Godshill (The Isle of Wight Farm Shop) and Cheverton (Isle of Wight Meat Company) plus vegetable boxes from Living Larder.
